Energize Your Shirt with Clipart

Happy Friday Inkers! If you didn't know already, I'm Kat, in addition to making these videos, I create the clipart for the website. When I make shirts in the Lab I like layering different designs together to make fun backgrounds. There are so many different shapes in our cliaprt library, but my go to search words are: splatter, graffiti, design, geometric, flourish, and swirl. In this video I show just how easy it is to layer different clipart together. If you want to see another example, and my first video attempt, check out this video. It also talks about adding text over your clipart while still keeping your design in one color! Thanks for watching, and have a great weekend!

A Picture's worth a thousand words, or a Letter!

Hi Inkers!  You may have seen our video on the ABC's of Clipart.  No?  Well, check it out right here.  Using a clipart to substitute for a letter or word in your design is a quick way to boost the creativity level of your shirt.  Just search our Clipart Library for words related to your event, and see if any of them look like a letter.  Maybe you can replace a whole word with a piece of clipart, like in this video.  I even made some clipart for each letter and number SO.... Go Forth and Search!  Have fun trying different clipart to see what goes best with your design.  Check out some of the examples below or go to our ABC's of Clipart page.  It's full of great ideas that my friend Mary created, plus links to other inspiring pages!  You can also watch this quick video to see just how easy it is!
